In an interview with Onet Film, The producer and director (at least one episode) of new Netflix series – Tomasz Baginski – ensure that The Witcher fans will love a lot of Henry Cavill in the skin of iconic wizard Geralt Of Rivia.
“I’m, of course, very satisfied. The public will love it”, he said. “You will see him on the screen. My lips, for a while, are sealed. Henry Cavill is a big and strong guy. You would not want to mess with him.
He also spoke of the comments circulating about the escalation of the rest of the cast:
“The people have the right to judge. We also earn money for criticism. If someone feels better expressed on the internet that they don’t like a casting choice, so paradoxically it means that we are doing a good job. We provide entertainment to people, so if is fun to chatter over the Internet, fine. I understand the fans have your own imaginations, but everybody in the series came from an elaborated testing process”.
Still, no official release date announced the series is slated for release in 2020. It also features Henry Cavill; Jodhi May (Game Of Thrones) as Queen Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson (Fortitude) as Eist; Adam Levy (Knightfall) as Mousesack; Anya Chalotra (Wanderlust) as Yennefer; MyAnna Buring as command of the Aretuza Magic Academy, Tissaia; Freya Allan (The War of Worlds) as Ciri; Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as Frangilla and Sabrina; and Millie Brady as rebel princess Renfri.

Hissrich (Daredevil and The Defensors), and the Polish of special effects company Platige Images, we have Jarek Sawko (The Fallen Art) and Tomasz Baginski (The Cathedral) in the lead.
